Refund policy
Sheikh.co.za specialises in the sale of perfume products only. Due to the nature of fragrance products and for hygiene and quality control reasons, strict conditions apply to all returns and exchanges.
Return & Exchange Period
Requests for returns or exchanges must be submitted within 7 (seven) business days from the date of receipt of the order. Any requests received after this period will not be considered.
Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges
To qualify for a return or exchange, the product must:
- Be unused and unopened
- Be in its original, sealed packaging
- Be undamaged, unaltered, and in a saleable condition
- Include all original components, labels, and inserts
Products that show signs of use, tampering, or wear will not qualify.
Opened Items
Opened perfume products will not be accepted for return or exchange due to hygiene and safety reasons.
The only exception is where the perfume bottle itself is damaged or has a manufacturing defect upon delivery. In such cases:
- The issue must be reported within 7 business days
- Supporting photographs or video evidence may be required
- The product must not have been deliberately misused
Packaging Condition
Damaged, opened, or tampered outer packaging alone does not qualify for a return or exchange. Packaging damage that does not affect the perfume bottle or product quality will not be considered a valid reason for a claim.
Incorrect or Faulty Orders
If an incorrect product is delivered or a product is defective:
- Please notify Sheikh.co.za within 7 business days
- The item must remain in its original condition
- Once verified, we will arrange for a replacement or refund at our discretion
Inspection & Approval
All returned items are subject to inspection and approval upon receipt. Sheikh.co.za reserves the right to decline any return or exchange that does not meet the policy criteria.
Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed using the original method of payment. Please allow 5–10 business days for refunds to reflect, depending on your payment provider. Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error on our part.
Exchanges
Where an exchange is approved:
- Exchanges are subject to product availability
- If the replacement item is unavailable, a refund may be issued instead
- Price differences may be payable where applicable
Return Shipping
Unless the return is due to an error or defect confirmed by Sheikh.co.za:
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
- Items remain the customer’s responsibility until received by Sheikh.co.za
Right to Refuse
Sheikh.co.za reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges that do not comply with this policy or where there is evidence of misuse, abuse, or fraud.
